Here at CHARLOTTE our passion for fur/leather bagsled us to introduce ourcollection under our new Brand with innovative design using the unique Goat Fur Skin leather sourced from all provinces.
The CHARLOTTE Bag Range uses 100% goat fur leather, and goat no-hair leather stampedwith a crocodile skin pattern for some bag combinations. Internal linings use velvet / suede fabric. Some of our skins are also printed with Faux Leopard and Zebra patterns to imitate their famous African cousins.
We are proud to say that our products are made with sustainable and welfare friendly animal skins. Which are byproducts of normal Indonesian domestic meat production and the skins would usually be wasted or never processed. The animals typically lead a free range lifestyle on small family style properties and farms. And provide vital protein and milk products for the Indonesian people across the country, but of course never in any way endanger their existence.
Our bag collection is produced in a home industry/small workshop in Bali with local workers. This small but skilled team allows us to keep the quality of our Bags as high as possible.And though limited now, with time our team and production will expand, but our first aim is tomaintain and improve quality.
With the unique nature and patterns of the individual Goatskins every bag is one of a kind. Although we make many examples of the same designs, No two bags willbe exactly alike because of this variation in the skins. They are as individual as the animals that help sustain the people of rural and isolated villages across Indonesia.
With this variety in the skins there are three kinds that we grade for quality and rarity.
- Regular Collection
- Limited Range ( 1 in 300+ skins )
- Signature Collection (1 in 500+ skins)
Occasionally there are very rare skins that appear only 1 in 1000 choices or more. These we reserve for specialdesigns and/or custom clients depending on demand.
Signature items can also be a combination from the Limited range fur choices that we combine into one bag, giving another unique look.
Charlotte Chen is a designer based on the island of Bali, located in the Jimbaran – Kuta Selatan area. She is the Founder, Joint owner &Driving force behind this unique collection of ladies fashionwear. Since 2011 under PT. Berkat Mengalir Abadi Selalu. With the managed growth and continued development of the Brand she hopes to create a fresh new fashion house based in Bali with an international clientele. All while showcasing the very best that Indonesia can offer in Design, Raw materials, Production, Staff, and Skilled labour.
Our ultimate Aim and Vision at CHARLOTTE is to create our unique bags and fashion items at a consistent quality and price, to service our loyal clientele at home in Bali andall around the world.
